How Stripchat VR works

Stripchat VR is browser-based. The streams run on WebXR, the web standard for immersive content, so the whole experience lives inside your headset's web browser — there is no third-party app and nothing to sideload or download.

The flow is simple: open the site in your headset browser, choose a model the provider's feed flags as a VR broadcast, start the stream, and tap the Enter VRbutton in the player. The view switches from a flat window to an immersive VR180 stream, as advertised by the provider's feed. Stripchat first introduced VR shows in 2019, and native in-browser headset support expanded around 2022.

Which headsets work

Any headset whose browser supports WebXR can load a Stripchat VR stream. Support is strongest on these:

What you can do in a VR show

A Stripchat VR room is interactive, not just a video you watch. Once you are in, the same controls available on the flat site carry into VR:

• Token-based tipping— send tips using Stripchat's token system.

• Toy reactions— tips can trigger reactions on a model's connected toy.
• Live chat — type with the model and the room in real time.
