Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how SexCamsVR (“SexCamsVR”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data in connection with the website sexcamsvr.com(the “Site”). We operate from Latvia (European Union) and act as the data controller for the limited personal data described below.

What data we collect

We deliberately keep data collection to a minimum. We do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party advertising or analytics trackers on the Site.

Cookies

We set only two cookies, both of which are strictly necessary for the Site to function. They store no personal identifiers and are not used for tracking or advertising, so under the GDPR and the ePrivacy rules they do not require your prior consent:

• age_verified — records that you have confirmed you are 18 or older, so the age-verification screen is not shown again. Stored for up to one year.
• cookie_notice_ack — records that you have acknowledged this cookie notice, so the banner is not shown again. Stored for up to one year.

Affiliate click data

When you click through to a performer’s stream, your browser sends a request to our click endpoint (/api/click) before redirecting you to our affiliate partner. At that moment we record, on our own server:

• a SHA-256 hash of your IP address — a one-way fingerprint that cannot be reversed back into your real IP address. We never store your raw IP. The hash lets us count distinct clicks and detect abuse without retaining an identifier that points back to you;
• your device type(for example VR headset, mobile, or desktop), derived from your browser’s user-agent string;
• the referrer (the page you came from).

We use this data solely for fraud prevention and aggregate analytics (for example, understanding which models and devices are popular). It is not used to build a profile of you or to serve advertising.

Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

Under Article 6 of the GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Strictly necessary cookies — these are required to deliver a service you have requested and to meet our legal obligation to restrict access to adult content, so no separate consent is required.
• Click analytics (hashed IP, device type, referrer) — our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) in preventing affiliate fraud and understanding how the Site is used. Because the data is hashed and never tied to your identity, the impact on your privacy is minimal.

Data retention

Affiliate click logs (hashed IP, device type, and referrer) are retained for 12 months, after which they are deleted or further aggregated into non-personal statistics. The age_verified and cookie_notice_ack cookies remain on your device for up to one year unless you clear them sooner.

Third parties

When you click through to watch a stream, you are referred to our affiliate partner Stripchat, which operates the live-cam platform and processes your data as an independent controller once you arrive on their site. Their handling of your data is governed by their own policy — see the Stripchat Privacy Policy. We share only the referral itself; we do not pass on the hashed click data described above.

Hosting and international transfers

The Site is hosted on a Hostinger VPS located in the United States. This means the limited data we process may be stored and handled outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the hosting provider’s contractual data-protection commitments) to ensure your data remains protected to GDPR standards.

Your rights under the GDPR

If you are in the EEA, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• request correction of inaccurate data;
• request erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”);
• restrict or object to our processing;
• request portability of your data; and
• lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — in Latvia, the Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija).

Please note that because our click data is stored only as an irreversible hash, we are usually unable to link it back to a specific individual, which may limit our ability to action access or erasure requests for that particular data set. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, and the “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent change.
